A promise I made at thirteen. Kept.
Thirteen years old, I set a target that would shape my whole life.
Decades later, I’d achieved it and a lot more.
I’ve stepped on stages around the world.
Built a business from nothing.
Run my own shows.
Represented my country.
Judged on the biggest stages in the sport.
Coached clients to win at the highest level.
And learned what it really takes to lead.
This is more than a career.
It’s a lifetime of work, discipline, and commitment.
If you want a coach who has lived every part of this sport and can take you further than you thought possible, send me a message and let’s talk about your next season.

If you're a first-time female competitor or returning to stage to do it properly, this is for you.
This is who I am.
What I stand for.
And why The Phoenix Standard exists.
I’ve spent over 25 years coaching, competing, judging, and mentoring.
But titles aren’t what define this.
It’s structure. Leadership. Presence.
And helping women step on stage composed, confident, and proud.
If you're ready for real coaching with standards, clarity, and purpose
—
DM me the word STAGE, and I’ll walk you through what that journey can look like.
If you don’t learn a lesson from mistakes you have made or things you have been through, then you won’t grow from them. Facing issues is tough, but is the best option in the long run🤝

Show day moves quickly.
Things change through the day.
Timing.
Stress.
Emotions.
The athlete feels it all.
Part of coaching is keeping things settled while the day unfolds.
Clear direction.
A steady environment.
Keeping her focused on what matters in that moment.
That carries onto the stage.
🦋One day.. or day one? 🦋

Second show of the season with Nai.
UK Ultimate Physiques.
4th in Bikini Open.
1st in Bikini Athletic.
Overall winner.
Pro card earned.
British Finals qualification secured.
A huge day.
When we selected this show, I told her she had the potential to win the overall and take the pro card.
At the time, she struggled to fully see that for herself.
That’s changing now.
Today had plenty of moments that could have pulled her out of flow.
The kind of things that happen on show day more often than people realise.
She stayed with it.
Stayed present.
Handled it well.
That carries onto the stage.
Because competing well is never just about condition.
It’s how the athlete holds herself through the full day.
The look.
The energy.
The confidence.
The presence.
That’s the part people feel when you walk on stage.
For me, this is why first shows and early season shows matter so much.
You learn the athlete.
How she responds.
How she presents.
How her physique changes through each phase of peak week.
Every show gives more clarity.
And now we have six days until the next one.
Different federation.
Different criteria.
A different look needed again.
That’s the exciting part.
Because she’s only just starting to see what she’s capable of.
And we’re only just getting started.
You can’t out-discipline your emotions, no matter how many boxes you tick or what a great bodybuilder you are.
…Eventually you have to face them.
