Photos from the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic in Cornwall. First went there as an 11 year old with my family and it freaked us all out. Returned with my father more than 40 years later and although it has been slightly censored, still def worth a visit for its astonishing array of artefacts. Happy Halloween!

3 years ago @gosiaplysa and I were married twice, once backstage at Unsound Adelaide in mid July - for the paperwork - and once in Poland in mid August for the party and gathering among friends and family. Boundless love for this amazing woman, who is also my best friend, and who timed things so nicely that her birthday always come right after ❤️
2003 selfie, the year of starting Unsound in Krakow. Dirty Three poster on my bedroom wall. Almost booked Warren Ellis solo that year but hadn’t saved enough money from teaching English. In winter, I used to fill that heater behind me with coal and burn it to keep the place warm.

The album “Гільдеґарда” by Ukrainian artists @heinalimusic and Andriana-Yaroslava Saienko @yasiavmyla will be released on the @unsoundfestival label on May 30. Pre-orders and the standalone single “Zelenaia Dubrovonka” are out now – available on the Unsound Bandcamp.
Heinali and Saienko’s collaboration brings the music of 12th century abbess, philosopher and mystic Hildegard von Bingen into a new era, connecting Ukrainian folk singing and modular synth, which becomes a mirror to reflect and process wartime experiences.
