The narrative of Dogme, along with the look and mood of its events, is rendered in a dark, emotionally Gothic style, presenting a surreal story of two parallel worlds and the creation of a globalized product.
The film takes Louis Vuitton as an example — a brand that needs no advertising, yet many measure themselves against it due to its immense influence on the world, the fashion industry, and people’s consciousness. Its dominant impact can be compared only to a religious dogma.
The fashion film Dogme was screened as part of the “Film/Genre” video stream at the 5th WFS festival-installation.
