"Tales From The Pusciverse #3: The Synth Whisperer" is available now via Puscifer.com (link also in bio).
The latest installment of Tales From The Pusciverse centers on one of the newest and most enigmatic characters to emerge from the expanding Puscifer universe… The Synth Whisperer.
Introduced on a recent episode of the Tales From The Pusciverse Prodcast as “the man, the myth, the legend known as The Synth Whisperer in the deepest and darkest corners of the online music community,” this master of technology possesses electronics and can synchronize even the most temperamental of machines, including the Synclavier and Fairlight. As strange signals ripple across the Pusciverse, only The Synth Whisperer may hold the power to restore order, or reshape it entirely.
Maynard: “The stories are starting to unfold. The Synth Whisperer, The Briefcase, Fanny Grey, and Bellendia Black details are dropping like bread crumbs. This is only the beginning.”
Written by Maynard James Keenan, the new issue features cover art by Zombie Yeti, artwork by Marlin Shoop (“Captain Action,” “G.I. Joe,” “Unprepped”), lettering by Jack Morelli (“Afterlife with Archie,” “Peter Parker Annual,” Marvel Comics) and faux advertisements by Andy Belanger.

Puscifer sent an ecstatic shiver through their fans’ spines last night when they rolled through New York City’s Terminal 5 to support the goth-coded sounds of their new album, Normal Isn’t.
The 18-song set was heavy on new tunes— including their “A Public Stoning” finale with comedian/musician Dave Hill — but also provided plenty of fan-favorite money-shots from across the Pusciverse.
Photographer @thetinfoilbiter was there to capture Puscifer in all their gothic glory, swipe through for some of the night’s standout shots.
We’ve brought “Tales From The Pusciverse #2: The Briefcase” to life, set to “A Public Stoning,” from the new album 𝘕𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘭 𝘐𝘴𝘯’𝘵.
Featuring artwork by Marlin Shoop, written by Maynard James Keenan, with animation by Raul Araujo and Chris Rubey, the video centers on the enduring mystery of the briefcase.
Maynard: “The Briefcase has been part of the Puscifer mythology for years. Everyone wonders what exactly is inside. This issue doesn’t necessarily answer the question… but it moves the story forward.”
While issue #2 is sold out online, a tour-exclusive foil cover edition is available at merch on Puscifer’s current North American tour. Visit Puscifer.com for all upcoming dates.
