That immense and otherworldly electric feeling; I wanted to somehow simulate it, visualize it and bring to motion.
While simultaneously getting something that's visually unique and innovative, especially in motion.
As all I had to work with was a generative system that would output single images and no animation, creatively this one was a pleasant breakthrough to figure out.
The full sequence is 1,136 frames in total.
It required 1,6TBs of cache data, from which 153GBs of image data were extracted out of; with a color depth of 32bits-float and handling in ACESCG colorspace, it ensured that I would get the best out of all the colors playing with each other.
Originally made and processed in 2160×2160, but had to be drastically downscaled and compressed for web uploads.

My recap of Razor's visit to Munich at @bmwwelt this last weekend!
It was truly amazing to have the car that I loved from one of my childhood favorite games, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, to be adapted to real life on a real, true M3 GTR. This series of M3 GTRs are so incredibly rare & valuable & have so much history that they're called "unicorns" in the industry + they have even more history & value to a whole generation of gamers like me who played NFS: Most Wanted.

Honestly BMW just got +999,999 Street Cred for allowing one of their one-of-a-kind historic racing cars to be modified in this way, for us gamers who played this game all the way back in 2005.
But it all became even more unreal when @therealderekhamilton the actor of "Razor" who is the final boss of the game, decided to fly all the way over here to meet the NFS fans & see the car! He's so real for that, such an infinitely cool guy. He was so patient in meeting everyone & signing so so many things. Mad respect & so thankful to him for coming to visit!
Knowing that this was happening, I decided to do something I rarely do these days, which was going back to the pencil & paper & to draw something. I wanted to make something for him to take back home & this was how I could do it.
This was also extra nostalgic for me as games like Need for Speed inspired me to draw cars since childhood, & to go back to that & draw the Most Wanted Cover while listening to the soundtrack for many hours was so nostalgic & enjoyable. The best part was, I was drawing & making this for the man, the one & only Derek Hamilton A.K.A. Razor himself.
It was also so cool to meet so many NFS: Most Wanted fans & to talk about this 20-YEAR-OLD game & admire how great it was, appreciating the car & Razor & everything about this event & this rare moment for gamers.
It's like we had just met, but felt like we all shared the same childhood by playing this game.
This event also became so viral worldwide as Gamers & NFS fans worldwide saw how insane this was & honestly, I'm so lucky to happen to live in the city where this all took place.
