I always get asked why am I so driven and motivated. When you see your parents working multiple jobs to make ends meet all your childhood, your brain will not tell you to take anything for granted.
They both deserve to rest and that is the mission I’m on 🫶🙏

My grandpa’s reaction to me quitting and his words are always healing to me. I try record most calls because my biggest fear in life is the day I can’t call them anymore. I know so many of you love my Thatha, he’s international Thatha to my online community - but he’s always mine first 😂♥️ but I do know you guys would appreciate hearing his wisdom. Way beyond his era. He just gets it.

It’s not always just about money. So make your decision wisely when it comes to your own home, wealth means something else for each individual. If you’ve been in fight or flight all your life, wealth can mean freedom or stability. I’m very aware of my privileges because even having a roof over my head as a renter is a blessing.
Do you combine your workplace pensions or keep them separate? What may seem like simple knowledge to some, is the unknown for people like me from a lower socioeconomic background and I’ve had to make an active effort to learn about jt.
This video doesn’t even scratch the surface of how pensions work, and combining your pension pots is not necessarily the best option every one. It is highly dependent on individual circumstances and requires an informed decision.

It’s a huge risk I’ve taken, I don’t have the privilege of falling back on my parents for money and I pay a mortgage and bills. I stopped financially relying on my parents at the age of 18. Of course they’ve bought me gifts in the past like a laptop or a camera but my day to day has been me.
with anything I do, I always consult Amma first, the thing is she never says no to anything I suggest whether it’s traveling aboard alone or take big risks, she tells me what could possibly go wrong but never stops me from doing what feels right.
only I’m crazy enough to leave a really well paying competitive job at a MBB consulting firm with no back up! My gut has been telling me for some time to just do it and the more I ignored the feeling the worse it got.

it’s not just a business or a quick side hustle, it became my lifeline and it made my smile return.
This is the oversimplified watered down version, the past 3 year has been beyond tough. To add to that my family home got robbed 2 weeks ago and we’ve lost a lot.
It’s been a rollercoaster. So for me being here, still standing, overcoming pain, hurdles, and being able to smile again through every tough moment - a blessing.
