Sometimes the more subtle projects can reveal a challenge. To create something at once simple, elegant, and timeless but not dated, boring, or old...is an exercise in restraint.

I've been meaning to post about this project. Repackaging a group of Hunter S Thompson titles is no easy feat. The project was kicked off by one 50th anniversary repackage, leading to the editor pitching "LET'S DO THEM ALL!"
Possibly adding one more to the group. It'll happen when it happens haha!

A dark project but still provided interesting iconography to play with.
Another amazing book from Anna Dorn and such a fun, moody, atmospheric project to work on! Olivia always brings the best authors!

I don't even know where to begin...a woman is taking care and f her father who is a human-sized worm in her bathtub...another woman is harvesting giant sheep plants and the sheep are all too excited to be harvested...these stories are somewhere between whimsy and terror but every one has a moment that resonates...this last three titles are the kind of projects I am always too excited to work on...I AM the giant sheep plants!
