Hello, I'm Mathilde, and let me introduce you to the chair you'll probably spend the best hour of your entire wedding morning on. I'm kidding. Although… it is extremely comfortable.
With wedding season starting again, I thought it was finally time for a proper introduction. My brides usually describe me as calming and professional, but also funny and kind. Which honestly makes me very emotional because that's exactly the energy I hope people feel around me.
As for me? I'd say I'm deeply passionate about beauty in every possible way. All my friends know their color season and undertone whether they asked for it or not, my husband has a skincare routine better than most beauty influencers, and my friends basically use me as their personal beauty ChatGPT.
Before becoming a makeup artist, I collected a few lives. A Master's in psychology, a degree in digital marketing, years working in beauty PR and influence. I didn't plan it that way, but it turned out to be the best possible training for this job. Because on a wedding morning, beauty is actually the easy part. Reading the room, calming the energy, knowing when to be quiet and when to make everyone laugh — that's where the real work happens. And that, I love.
I grew up in Provence, in the south of France. Lavender fields, warm light, long summer afternoons. I think that's where my love for soft beauty comes from. The skin. The glow. The lightness. The elegance of things that never try too hard. That's exactly what I love creating for my brides.
My goal is never to transform you into somebody else. I want you to look like yourself on your very best day: fresh, radiant, elevated… the kind of beautiful that makes your future husband look at you and silently wonder if he's actually worthy of all this. And hopefully cry a little.
A few random facts before I go:
Matcha latte + LED mask is basically my morning personality.
I'm obsessed with fashion, but somehow always end up in neutral tones and high-waisted jeans.
I cook a lot, especially Asian food.
And I've been in love with the same man for the past 12 years.
Anyway… now you know a little more about the person behind the brushes!
We love a very involved bride during her morning prep!
While @romy_hairstylist was doing her magic, our beautiful bride was working on her final glow with the LED mask.
I love adding a last-minute LED session before makeup to help calm the skin, reduce redness, and boost radiance. The skin instantly looks brighter, more even, and perfectly prepped for a flawless bridal makeup application 🤍

Sorry to say this, but no lipstick (no matter how “long-lasting” it claims to be) will stay absolutely perfect all day. And honestly? That’s completely normal.
I’d always choose fresh, luminous lips with a few easy touch-ups over a super matte lipstick or lip stain that starts fading unevenly, feeling dry, or leaving little flaky patches throughout the day.
That’s also why I leave each of my brides with a touch-up lip kit, or happily share the exact product reference if you’d prefer to purchase it yourself and keep it close by for quick retouches during the day.
Nothing should stop you from fully enjoying your wedding day. You’re going to laugh, talk, eat, toast… and most importantly, kiss the love of your life.
I think the skincare advice I give my brides the most deserved a place here, like a little reminder for my forgetful brides-to-be…
Jokes aside ; if you take your skin seriously, everything will go smoothly on your wedding day makeup-wise.
Healthy, hydrated skin holds makeup beautifully, doesn’t “drink” it up, and keeps that fresh glow all day long.
And as much as I’m neither a surgeon nor a magician, you can make a huge difference by taking care of your skin in the months leading up to the wedding.
You’re working for the memories here ✨
⚠️ no beautiful skin without daily SPF
⚠️ retinal is powerful ; introduce it slowly and progressively

Booked me one month before the wedding, no trial, just full trust.
She told me she barely wears makeup, wasn’t sure about lashes, and wanted a sun-kissed blush to feel fresh, glowy, effortless.
So we kept everything lightweight and skin-focused, so she could still feel like herself, just a little more elevated for the day.
And honestly… I think we did it!
