Vi holder boglancering torsdag d. 21 på @hverdagencph i Kødbyen, hvor alle velkomne til at bladre i en bog og få et glas koldt.
Bogen handler om mytologi i naturen med udgangspunkt i Rold Skov. Vi startede med at fotografere tilbage i 2016 og har de seneste par år arbejdet på bogen med et stærkt team bestående af forlag @booklab.dk , design af @spine_studio og fotoredaktør @emilryge .

“Kystland” is a photographic journey along the coasts of Denmark. Through words and images, photographers Mathias Svold and Ulrik Hasemann unfold the story of the nature and people found where water meets land. This body of work is a combined effort of artistic documentarism, offering us everyday life, as well as extraordinary moments from the coasts. Includes an essay by novelist Josefine Klougart.

The exhibition brings together works by Christina Capetillo, one of Denmark’s most prominent visual artists within the field of landscape photography, and the award-winning photographers Mathias Svold and Ulrik Hasemann. The exhibition presents works relating to the coast and the water – the sea and the fjords – and the wide-open spaces as well as to the forest and the denser landscapes with thickets and lush vegetation.
The exhibition is supported by the Danish Arts Foundation, the Augustinus Foundation, the Grosserer L. F. Foghts Fond and Politiken-Fonden.

EVENT PROGRAMME
In connection with the exhibition an artist talk will be held in collaboration with Art Matter Festival on June 2 from 4.30-5.15pm featuring Christina Capetillo, Mathias Svold and Ulrik Hasemann where you can learn more about the exhibition and the works. Thursday 7 May and 13 August from 5-5.30pm guided exhibition tours will take place. The tours will be held in Danish and participation is free after paid entrance to the exhibition.

Kig forbi Fotografisk Center på næste torsdag d. 30!
Her udstiller @ulrik_hasemann og jeg 30 billeder fra vores naturprojekter sammen med @christinasofiacapetillos værker. Udstillingen hedder Jorden under vores fødder og handler om vores forhold til det landskab, vi er en del af.
Det er første gang, vi udstiller et større antal billeder samlet, så det glæder vi os til!
Der er gratis entré, og alle er velkomne til at kigge forbi til et glas koldt mellem kl. 17 og 19☺️

Leths ord og enorme viden har altid gjort indtryk på mig – i bøger, film og som en poetisk røst under cykelløb.
I sommer fik jeg lov til at følge ham til hans onsdagsritual: barbering i Vognmagergade, efterfulgt af sild og snaps. Hvil i fred.
Jeg har besøgt det naturskønne landskab omkring Gisselfeld Kloster. Her er de bekymret, fordi en firesporet motorvej til Næstved skal anlægges klods op af deres strengt beskyttet naturområde. Ifølge eksperter vil det få ødelæggende konsekvenser for områdets sjældne arter, moser og åer.
Hvad siger landets miljøminister, Magnus Heunicke, som kalder “biodiversitetskrisen en af vor tids største udfordringer?”
Miljøministeren er glødende tilhænger af motorvejen, som han har kæmpet for i årevis som bysbarn af Næstved. Han står bag – og er moderator for – Facebook-gruppen “Motorvej Næstved–Rønnede Nu!”, som i dag har over 7.000 medlemmer
Det er en besynderlig sag, hvor eksperter undrer sig over, at Vejdirektoratet selv har fået vurderet, at motorvejen ikke vil få negativer konsekvenser for naturen, forud for at projektet blev stemt igennem.

Danmarks bedst beskyttede natur er fyldt med p-pladser, motorvej, solceller og en strudsefarm. Det lyder som en aprilsnar i november, men desværre er biodiversitetskrisen meget virkelig.
Sammen med de dygtige og rare folk @asgerladefoged og Michael Lund har jeg året igennem rejst rundt i hele Danmark for at dokumentere de steder, hvor vi burde passe bedst på vores særlige truede dyr og planter. Jeg kan afsløre, at det ikke går godt.
Faktisk er langt de fleste truede arter og naturtyper i så dårlig tilstand, at vi risikerer at bryde et EU-direktiv ifølge de miljøjurister, vi har talt med.
