#miltonsinspirations is back and this time it’s all about @anna.fo__ , her way to use her art and the way she can express herself through it📸🎨✨ I’ve stumbled upon her Instagram around 1,5 year ago and ever since I’ve been wanting to portray her art, her and to get a glimpse of how she sees the world and to shoot a bit of behind the scenes during her process. For the ones, who haven’t been following along since my last series(2 years ago), I’ve figured out that I get a lot of my inspiration from other creative people, so I decided some years back to portray and highlight some of the persons in my network and give our audience a taste of what they do and what kind of their craft that inspires and motivate me and my own😍 “My work is not about gender - I like the idea that I paint as much with a male gaze as that of a female one. I like when my female figures seduce, provoke and distort expectations. Painting for me is an act of defiance against the mundane, the expected and the reasonable. I want my canvas to feel fiercely alive.” - @anna.fo__ I was a fly on the wall for an hour or two and just allowed my analog camera follow her around in the studio, where her paintings were lying and hanging everywhere. Some were fulfilled, some weren’t done yet and some saw her attention more than others✨ Apparently she started her painting in less than two years ago to my big discovery🫡 The paint was gently mixed together, to create new nuances and layers to the paintings. Her pensels touched the wet paint and were thereafter swung in between the canvas and the colourful mixture🪄🎨 Her face was focused and yet relaxed at the same time all while Hania Rani was playing in the background🎶 It was an admiring act to witness and I’m glad and blessed that she allowed me to peak in on her, while she performed her art with her pensels, mind and heart🍀 Continue the good work @anna.fo__ 🌼

Hiroshima was not only convenient from Seoul airport, but I’ve always wanted to visit The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum to pay my respect and to witness the place, where the first atomic bomb was dropped🕊️ I’ve been fascinated by Japanese history and culture for +25 years now so of course Hiroshima was on my to-go-list for this year’s visit🫡 The museum was the main reason for me to go and it didn’t disappoint at all. It was heartbreaking and everyone were completely silent and a few/including myself were quite emotional while walking through hallways with photographs, illustrations, sketches and paintings of the aftermath of the bomb💔 Burned bodies, torn limbs, melted flesh, crooked buildings and dead women, men and children were portrayed and yet you still left the museum with a relieved feeling of hope and that it would never happen again in our time❤️‍🩹 The museum is a must visit and is a important piece of our history and to better understand the Japan that you’ll visit today or someday🙏 Lovely city and was way warmer than Seoul at that time too(was in start February)✨ I made my way to Miyajimacho and to the significant Otorii gate as well. Pretty place and delightful island with deers casually walking around us🦌 Hiroshima had a calm atmosphere surrounding it. There’s always plenty and several ways of commuting yourself in a big city! I was only in Seoul for a total of 6 days and I was very pleased with of easy it was to get from a to b🇰🇷 I managed to walk quite a lot, but it was very delightful to be in such a huge city and yet with a public transportation, that was so easy to navigate around with, to find and to pay for as well!!💵 It’s rather easy to use here I Denmark as well, to find but when it comes to the prices☠️ I’m planning to make a part two from Seoul in a different post so stay tuned and enjoy the spring until then🌸 #seoul #southkorea🇰🇷 #visitseoul #leessang #kanggary

First reel from Japan is finally up and this is only a small fragment of what I ate during my ten days in Japan.
