The World Cup opener didn’t go as I had in mind.
I came here with confidence, but it didn’t come together in the race, as I simply couldn’t put all the pieces together today.
These are actually the kind of conditions I like (maybe not quite that much running), which makes it even more disappointing for me.

Today was our first look at the new course here in South Korea.
We went for a track walk — which we usually don’t do.
But with a brand new track and riding only possible from tomorrow, it was the right call.
I’m looking forward to this one — the profile looks interesting, and it’s a new challenge for everyone. Usually we already know the course from previous years, but not here.
