words have never quite done justice to what commencement day at fenway feels like. so this year, it occurred to me that a behind-the-scenes look might begin to convey it.
this is the director’s cut of the 2026 @northeastern Commencement Finale: a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into the show, the people who make it happen, and the moments that make it all worth it.
over 250 student performers from more than 12 organizations. a card stunt with 20,000 guests. technicolor pyro. a nor’easters ICCA championship win four days before the show. and a closing song that caused a delightfully viral moment!
when @hilaryduff told me this was “one of the coolest things she’s ever been a part of” i was like girl. 🫠that’s what my dreams are made of.
none of this happens without an extraordinary team and the most talented, dedicated student performers i’ve ever seen. every single person in this video gave everything, and it shows. thank you.
