Outtakes from a project in Nice, that we worked on with @samgolong . I took a bit of my footage, borrowed some of Sam’s thoughtful words from his vlogs, and shaped it into these two little reflection clips. It felt refreshing to create something slow, thoughtful, and not trendy.
Congrats @samgolong for the 14th place at the @ironmantri world championship. Thanks to @alan.bucar for bringing me on board and @laragruden for the pasta and coffee that kept us going.
After a brutal run in the mountains of Nice, we pulled over for a quick roadside switch.
No real break, just resetting before Sam went back into the grind toward the Ironman World Championship.
Days of lava rock, salt and wind, long sessions, moonlit decks, and the slow, beautiful rhythm of life at sea, strangers turning into crew, crew turning into friends. Grateful for every laugh, every story, every shared horizon.

Doesn’t happen very often anymore that the mountain I grew up on gets a proper blanket of fresh snow. So when it does, I grab my board, hike up, and go back to where everything started. Drawing lines, breathing cold air, and watching a familiar place turn magical again. ❄️
