In 2023, I was commissioned by @museumjewishheritage for a poem to accompany the incredible Garden of Stones by Andy Goldsworthy.
Here is my poem “When You Are the Arrow of Time” along with an short intro I wrote the poem & a film they shot of my reading the work which you can read in the link in my bio
I was very sick when we filmed. All the more why, I believe, the poem and the intro came the way they did, together.
4 years ago! Paramount gave me the opportunity to write & perform new work for #jewishheritagemonth for a nationwide campaign, including the incredible Smithsonian channel.
I was sick, with limited vision and swollen on steroids…and did it anyway, memorizing everything because I couldn’t see the prompter. This was my favorite of the lyrical essays I wrote for the project 🖤
