Masters of Puppets 2026
We took longer than expected — and we’re aware of that.
Because getting this right mattered more than being fast.
Over the past 9 months, we faced unexpected setbacks, with two previously secured venues ultimately falling through. Rather than rushing into another compromise, we chose to stay patient and continue searching until we found a place that truly fits the future of this festival.
Masters of Puppets 2026 has a new home.
Valeč.
Not the Valeč you know, but the neighboring property — around 30 hectares, over four times the size of the previous site.
This is an upgrade in both space and production.
A new, larger Rage Stage is being built on this ground. The former Funny Moon stage will be expanded to match Kodama in scale.
Most of the camping is flat.
Everything is designed with flow in mind.
The only current limitation is permanent accommodation infrastructure, which will be developed over the coming years.
For this edition, accommodation will be available through equipped caravans and glamping tents. Priority access will be given to lifetime pass holders.
Sanitary infrastructure will also evolve with the site, starting from proven rental solutions, as used in previous editions.
This is a space we can grow into, year after year.
Built to support the scale, the sound, and the experience this festival has become.
Operations for Masters of Puppets will have no impact on Sonic Substance Festival.

Dear freaks, the @psycareaustria crew is returning to @mastersofpuppetsfest 2026 from 6 to 13 July in Czechia to co-create a safer and more supportive space for anyone navigating a psychologically difficult experience during the gathering.
