⭐ CLAPTON IS GOD? ⭐
🎸 Badge with Cecil, a stunning original 1960 Burst.
Many still undervalue Eric’s skills as a guitarist, but the solo he recorded on Badge is a masterpiece of articulation, precision, and control. His bending is incredibly precise, and the choice of notes is simply exquisite, shaping phrasing that feels both lyrical and epic.
And it’s quite a challenge when you have to deal with low original frets, as is the case here!
Played through a 1969 100w super lead head (just tuned up and restored to perfection by our dear friend and master amp tech @massimo_mtechaudio ) and a 1968 pinstripe cab thanks to my brother Joe @isle_of_tone trough a cool 70s script logo MXR Phase 45.

Today we’re thrilled to present This 1955 Esquire, formerly owned by the great Nicky Panicci, which is the very one used to record “Diamonds On The Inside” by Ben Harper. That record , that song, and those tones definitely were such an inspiration and still sound fresh today !!! here I’m playing the solo from the track on the same guitar, that still has its original (low!!) frets.
