Oh it’s just @jampedals with an update on the Tubedreamer. In classic Jam fashion, this thing is a tonal monster.
The added gain and the clipping switches, especially the no diode option, expand the sonic pallet of the original.

Jam Pedals just released a brand new pedal today! the new TubeDreamer.
For this demo, I only used the High Gain footswitch, and honestly, this thing already feels incredible.
What surprised me most was how smooth and musical the saturation stays, even with more gain pushed in. It still keeps the pick attack and dynamics alive instead of turning into mush.
There is this chewy midrange and compression that feels really addictive especially with Two Rock amp. Fast lines still stay clear, chords bloom naturally, and harmonics jump out in a really satisfying way.
It definitely has that classic Tube Screamer DNA, but with a more refined and amp like response under the fingers.
The next video will focus on the Over Drive switch because that side has a completely different flavor, and I am really excited to explore it more.

The latest iteration of JAM pedals’ ultimate 808-style overdrive pedal, the Tubdreamer mk.2, delivers on the promise of its predecessor - sweet, finely tuned midrange, loads of low-gain resolution for maximum sonic flexibility at the cleaner end, and rich, amp-like clarity - while upping the sonic ante considerably.
The mk.2 features a no-diode mode on its CLIPPING toggle, removing diodes from the signal path for an open, dynamic feel and sound. In addition, the high-gain stage is now accessible via a dedicated footswitch, making the Tubedreamer a powerful live performance companion.
A pair of trim pots under the hood allow for precise tweaking of output for the high-gain stage in each clipping mode, for nailing the perfect level, and a selectable power-on state lets the user choose whether the pedal starts up engaged or in bypass.
Like all JAM pedals, the Tubedreamer mk.2 is made by hand, and features industry standard 9v power and true bypass switching.

Physical Sound, Glitched Softly
Kalimba through a microphone, shaped into glitched ambient sound.
The close wooden tone became softer, fragmented, and a little unstable.
I played the kalimba, tapped it lightly, and sent the physical sound through Franklin Audio MP-10 and Hologram Chroma Console.
The edges blurred, the small attacks opened up, and the texture started moving in a more fragile way.
Sometimes a simple acoustic sound starts to reveal another surface when it passes through something slightly unpredictable.
I like how the kalimba still feels close to the hands, even after it becomes glitched and spacious.
