Our studio turned 1 š„¹
When this was filmed at our launch party a year ago, I genuinely didnāt know what the heck I was in for.
Nothing could prepare me for the brands that would walk through these doors, the content that would come to life between these walls, the special moments celebrated here.
Iāve worked with brands I used to quietly admire from afar. Iāve met people who walked in as clients and walked out as friends. Iāve watched this space be filled with nerves, laughter, bold pitches, vulnerable rebrands, big dreams, big risks, vulnerability, brilliance, the list goes on.
A year ago, I didnāt know what I was in for, and today I still donāt know.
I still havent touched on all the shoots I wanted to do, the collabs, the installations...we have so many big dreams! ā¦oh and did I mention that my hubby and I have moved to Sydney?
Tada Studio is still my priority for 2026 - our lease ends in October. Iāve had many discussions about the future of the space after October and still am open to anyone interested in carrying on with the space. But thereās no pressure and Iām trusting that the right decisions will come at the right time.
I love this space more than anything. When Iām inside, the whole world outside disappears. And Iāve loved seeing each and every person enjoy the space as much as I do.
Wildly grateful for all the support,
Big love xx
Follow along for the 6-month personality development program. At 0.5x speed. I reckon weāll see a good mix of motivational quotes, oversharing about rehab milestones and ājustifiedā online purchases. š¤·š¼āāļø
The thing I love most about growing old with you is how I never question how much Iām loved. š¤
I also really love when you donāt question meā¦you just ask what a fit check is and then youāre in.
Enjoying you endlessly, my liefie.
Happy 40th birthday š¤
Tried to play it cool⦠but underestimated how loud South African patriotism can be šæš¦
Every South African around my age (and up) can tell you exactly where they were during the 1995 Rugby World Cup. Jonah Lomu (the enormous āvillainā in the stories my grandmother used to tell) still haunts me today, and PJ Powersā rendition of āWorld in Unionā still makes me cry instantly.
The All BlacksāSpringboks rivalry is so deeply imprinted and respected in our upbringing. To have had the opportunity to host one of the biggest international sports brands in the world, right here in our studio, is a career highlight to say the least.
Thanks for the support, @allblacks
