I’m passionate about textiles and sustainability. I believe that vintage fabrics tell a story, and I have the honour of keeping those stories alive. After 30 years teaching Textiles & Design, I wanted to live what I taught, to slow down, create with intention, and make fashion that honours the past. Now I spend my days rescuing and reimagining beautiful vintage tablecloths, embroidered linens, and doilies, transforming them into one-of-a-kind shirts and bags.

My first upcycle for @macleayvalleyfashion back in 2022. A thrifted wedding dress and lots of doilies and lace. Some I stitched around completely and some I left hanging to form little flounces. The eucalyptus dyed panel covered the original embroidered bodice and replaced the under skirt. Tickets are now on sale for the fifth show so don’t miss out.
