Spending the next few days in Nashville at a photo conference and I'm so excited to soak up all the business information I can and play around with new gear and gadgets in this ever changing world of photography.
p.s. the inside of this hotel is like a whole new world with trees and a river running through it (you can legit go on a boat ride through it, which is kind of ridiculous), so it takes me back to the green summer days
2019 was filled to the brim with so much love from amazing clients and friends. From weddings to engagement sessions, proposals and families, I soaked up every bit of loveliness.
So I decided to pull together all of my favorite moments from last year into a blog post. A lot of these photos have not seen the light of day, other than from clients sharing, because I took a bit of an unintentional Instagram break. I have come back refreshed and ready to share with you all of the photos I took this past year!

It's not even 8pm and it's pitch black out. I love these cooler days but hate how they are getting shorter and shorter.
Unrelated photo just cause I miss stumbling up these trails with my camera glued to my face because I couldn't stop shooting these big views. And I miss my spontaneous backpacking buds.
Yesterday I hopped down to Glen falls to photograph this sweet couple getting engaged. Barbara had no idea even though I was just casually lingering as they 'tried to set up the gopro'. Then I met up with them later in the day, after Jason took Barbara to get her nails done and spend the day into town. We ran around in the fog with their pup Sunny and it was just a lovely evening.
I just love that I get to meet up with wonderful people like these and photograph sweet moments in the mountains.
I hope that each of my couples return to the spots I photograph them 20+ years down the line and remember the quiet moments, taking it all in.
These mountains get to see a lot of special times including next year when these two will be married here. I just can't wait to recreate some of these images with Tori and Michael as bride and groom🤗
It has been a whirlwind of a month and I haven't had the chance to share images from this intimate wedding at The Farm.
What a dream it was to photograph these two surrounded by their family and close friends by the pond and then dinner in the wine room. It was the most wonderful evening.

August 31st was nothing short of incredible. You could truly see the joy that Ian and Jeanette shared on their special day. And now they are living it up on an island in Caribbean, so cheers to these newly weds🎉
