As I was creating this I had a synopsis in mind, as if putting together broken scenes from a film. If I were to write it down it would sound something like this:
An old lady who’s an accomplished traveler returns to a country she went to in her earlier years. Not long after she settles into her hotel, she starts reminiscing about her experiences and conversations she had with her then partner. How they talked about life, philosophies and creating moments. As she travels across this magical place she tries to put these words she remembered into practice. Not that she has a lack of presence and appreciation, but as she visits places that have seen the effects of change she envisions a realm, place or dimension that is untouched. A place she holds for people she lost contact with. Suspended in time, emotion and imagination. Unbound to the harsh realities of the world and life’s unpredictable paths. A land where lies the unexpressed. Being back there physically helped strengthen her connection to this ether.

Proud to have directed and written the @cncptsdxb x @adidas campaign together with Marv.
The idea behind the story wasn’t just about the product and the roller skate community — it was about capturing the speed of the city we live in, how easy it is to get lost in its rhythm and the importance of finding your own acts of active meditation within the chaos.
