‘Fresh Start’ was shot in Porto at a time when I was rethinking not just my photography, but the way I move through life and the creative process itself. The space felt strangely familiar, unfinished and marked by time.
Being there made me reflect on the idea that new phases rarely come from emptiness. They come from friction, from doubt, from everything we carry with us. The textures, the cold light, and the quiet tension of the location mirrored that feeling.
The session became less about a concept and more about a state of mind, a quiet turning point, a pause before the next step, and a reminder that a fresh start often begins exactly where you already are. with good people around you.
