If you have mature skin here are my top tips for achieving flawless makeup:
1. Hydrating base: primer or moisturiser that gives a plumping effect
2. Lightweight, luminous foundation eg Shiseido Revitalessence Skin Glow Foundation
3. Cream products ie blush for a natural, hydrated finish
4. Soft eye makeup - matte eyeshadows, define hooded eyes by blending a darker colour in the crease of the eye socket, avoid heavy eyeliner
5. Choose creamy/semi matte lipsticks that flatter your complexion
6. Set with translucent powder where needed. No baking!

Red lipstick/red pigment has been used in make-up for hundreds of years. Did you know Queen Elizabeth I used red lipstick? Unfortunately, at the time it contained lead.
'Red has been used as a symbol of power, affluence, femininity and glamour as well as rebellion.'
Red lipstick is an essential in every womans makeup bag, especially with Christmas party season coming round the corner.
My favourite red lipstick is Velvet Ribbon by @lisaeldridgemakeup it suits every skintone and undertone. Its so vibrant i always get asked what brand I'm wearing (this is not an AD, my honest review).
