Yesterday was my first birthday after splitting in two & I’m feeling weird about it!

Recently had a client come in asking for something similar to work I had made back in 2019, which feels like a creative lifetime ago, and it was so rewarding to return to subject matter that had inspired me back then with fresh eyes 👯♀️

It feels extremely difficult to see my body represented in its current dual state. Even more difficult to be choosing a life that by necessity demands committing to a hope for the future, when the present feels so heavy. I thought these photos might just be for me and Coco to have as a memorial to this moment, to look back on years later in different bodies, but decided I might not be alone in searching for small visions of hope and defiance.

March will be my last month tattooing pre-hiatus

After 15 years in NYC, I so appreciate all the rare moments when friends & family from different lives are able to get together to spend time in one space; I wish I was able to get photos of more than 10% of you!!
First tattoos of 2026!! Done last week but I’ve been hibernating 😴 Some appointment times left in Jan/Feb, preparing for a long break starting late March/early April
