Since coming back from gat I’ve been putting hours into this car whenever I can, late nights, weekends, down time between jobs (rare) literally whenever I can. In 2 months this is what we got! Front subframe raised 4 3/4 in. Rockers raised 5in. Floors raised 6in and rear subframe raised 5 1/2in. So with doors completely on the ground (yes they are reinforced) , front subframe is off the ground 1/2in, rockers 1in and floors and rear subframe 2in. Should never have an issue with undercarriage ever again (fingers crossed) Obviously I’m no where near done, goal here was to get most of the undercarriage stuff done so that way the car can roll and move easily to where it needs to be. Front suspension is getting converted to a McPherson set up and I’m getting adjustable lowers produced for adjustability from stock to 1 1/2in extended. After that I can do the tube front since my uppers are currently where those need to go and then from there I can lessen the track width like I did in the rear to fit my fenders. As far as interior I need to add a couple tubes and then just sheet metal everything closed. 6.5 and 7in lips -30 tucking to lugs just looks insane. If you know me this is something I have wanted to do for yours and I’m glad I did it on a car that I’m 99% sure this has never even been thought of doing. Of courseeee I recorded everything. I just need to get caught up to date on all the content and then start this series. It’s gonna be some time til this car is done done as engine mods need to be done, body work and paint after all the tubing and sheeting metal is done, reassembly but slow and steady wins the race.
