A beautiful Sunday morning wedding at Tower Point! 💕 These two met on a family cruise when their mothers struck up a conversation at the coffee station. Soon, they were introduced to their respective families, and they spent the remainder of the cruise in each other’s company. After the vacation ended, they continued on with a long distance relationship. The bride eventually made the bold decision to move to Victoria so they could be together. They got married at the very spot where he proposed to her, so this is a very special place to the couple. Today they were surrounded by their closest loved ones for a sunrise wedding ceremony. There was a lot of wildlife in the area. We spotted blue herons, seals, and several brigades of Canada geese flying along the shoreline. A gorgeous place to begin their journey as husband and wife. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. J!! 🥰 A few days ago, the weather forecast called for a 90% chance of rain… but I had a chat with the universe last night, asking for sunshine for this beautiful couple. A day of love and laughter! Today I officiated a beautiful and intimate wedding at Jordan River. This is a special place that these two have returned to every year. Today they tied the knot with two of their closest friends as witnesses. There were many tears, lots of laughter and deep emotion. It was a fun ceremony with many personal touches throughout. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. D! 💕 Immediately after the wedding, their witness/tattoo artist friend planned to ink permanent reminders of their promises to each other — with matching rings, and also their favourite sayings to each other. 🥰 Last night it poured rain, and they were a little concerned about being able to hold their ceremony outside. But this afternoon, we had a beautiful blue sky and sunshine. So grateful for the gorgeous weather! Happy to once again work with @jordanadickson who captured their big day. A beautiful wedding this afternoon at @parkside_hotel 💕 These two high school best friends had no idea that they would one day get married. This was the most beautiful garden party-themed wedding with bright florals, textures and colors. So stunning! The couple’s mothers were their flower queens, and they were so elegant. Their sweet pup looked dapper in his formal tuxedo. (We love wedding dogs) We even had a 60 second photo so everybody could get their own pictures of the couple. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. H! The koi must have enjoyed the live music, because their fish behaviour changed as soon as @pianomusicbysharon started playing. It was fascinating to see. @mariacarerephotography performed the challenging task of capturing the ceremony from every angle, and she performed the photographic dance so well. The team at @fetesbylinda did such an amazing job! Lovely to work with you again. Take a bow. Alyssa at @brideswithdogs handled their pup with great care. With a 90% chance of rain, the weather forecast was not looking optimistic for the bride to enter from outside as planned. However, everything changed about 10 minutes before the ceremony started - it turned into a bright sunshiny day, right on schedule. A fun rehearsal for a wonderful couple at the @parkside_hotel — with @fetesbylinda and @mariacarerephotography . The hotel’s vast koi pond will be the perfect focal point for their ceremony. What a beautiful afternoon! Today I had the honour of marrying these two Tolkien nerds, gamers and Bridgerton fans who met online playing video games. They secretly harboured crushes on each other for the longest time, but neither was willing to lose the friendship. Embracing the brave spirit of Sam and Frodo, he finally admitted how he felt about her. Imagine his delight when she expressed the same sentiments. And then they fell in love. 🥰 Today they were surrounded by their fantastic community, and the wedding was live streamed to loved ones back home. Congratulations C & H! Your vows to each other were beautiful. Your Onyx night has now become Opalite. 💫✨ As I pulled into the parking lot before the wedding, I noticed a crow attacking a baby duckling - so I quickly tried to rescue it. Luckily, the mama duck came to collect her little one, but she was still in distress because she had other babies trapped behind a locked fence and there was no way to get at them. As luck would have it, the next-door neighbour was also monitoring the situation so she came out, climbed over her neighbour’s fence, and the two of us rescued the ducklings by handing them over the fence to each other. It was a happy moment when mama duck was reunited with her 4 babies.
