I condemn the actions of Israel and the murder of over 20,000 civilians, many of whom are children.
I am disgusted with the Australian arts organisations who will happily do a self-congratulatory acknowledgement of country, but are too cowardly to acknowledge the torture, the slaughter, the genocide.
Open your eyes. Engage. Be visible. Support your artists who are saying something. Your privilege and your whiteness will not save you. Your silence is being heard and it will be remembered.
I condemn the Australian MPs who refuse to make a clear call for a permanent ceasefire.
