The week is just about halfway throughhhh ! 🍁 It’s been quite some time since I cosplayed from Honkai Star Rail— let alone Hoyoverse in general! I’ve been meaning to cosplay Hanya since late 2023 when I received this cosplay as a gift ! It took some time but the fates cooked in my favor as I was able to have the talented @demonpresident do my cosplay makeup (THEY DID IT IN AN HOUR!! IT WOULDVE TAKEN ME THREE!) as well as have the talented @marokiandy shoot this cosplay! All while I got to do a mini HSR collab with some of my most cherished friends ~ though we kinda failed getting a group picture I’ll try and include it in a future post!! Firefly relevant in story content means it’s an excuse to share SAM again 🥹 (and hear @analesafisher slay again 💅) Looking back after putting him away for a bit, SAM really was, in every sense, an insane costume. The timetable building him, the places I’ve been with him, even just the fact he survived as long and as well as he has are all things that I never could’ve expected going into this build. Even now, I’m looking back at all the content I’ve made with him and realizing how much I’ve learned and am still learning from the experience. I’m hoping to dip into some cool stuff soon, but having a few show months have been good. I’ve looked at old projects, considered costumes I wouldn’t have ever before.
