Had a great beach trip with the fam… I need to start this post with the focus on what I took away from this summer… grateful I’m able to give Fenix these memories and I know I need to give him more of these trips together… I haven’t posted in quite awhile and it’s hard for me to know what to say… most of the time I’d rather be in the now and just soak up every moment with those people I care about right in front of me who I’m so thankful for… but I know I do have a voice in this loud toxic world… and it’s a voice that longs to be a light of hope for those that need it through my music with my brothers with whom we’ve journeyed through so much together… to be a shelter to those that need it when they’re down and going through some heavy shit… to share weird unbelievably strange beers together with friends and have meaningful life changing conversations… to create massive mamba jammy riffs and feels that create the goosies… to stay up way too late with my wife playing video games 😊 … to be an example of what life is for through rigorous honesty and not try to be perfect or pretend I know everything in the process because I never will and too many people forget to share that… and to admit when I’m wrong and not be above that… So I know I need to use this voice more… and so do you. I fought hard for this precious dream of my life and wouldn’t be here without those that have taught me, cried with me, humiliated me, encouraged me, loved me, and hugged me. Wowza, this EU tour has been incredible… been so encouraging to see so many people screaming their lungs out losing their shit… so many SOLD OUT shows… been lots of fun to rip this set and have it become so tight and strong… proud of the crew we have out here bc they’re kicking so much ass… thankful for all the meals, travels and beers shared with the road family… as well as all the various friends and family that made it out too… the support bands are so excellent too @catchyourbreathband is sick and I’m psyched to continue the good times on the North American legs of the tour… but sad to have to say goodbye to @solenceofficial & @ankorofficial because they’re badass and we’ve become close!! We only have 2 shows left… London TONIGHT & Bristol TOMORROW for the finale!!
