«Smears» is a series in which I combine various techniques to project images onto concrete surfaces. Using plotted foils, I manipulate the so-called «cast skin» of the concrete. Additional layers are added through transfer gel, which allows me to apply printed fragments discovered during my online research.
By embedding these ephemeral distortions onto concrete plates, I aim to preserve them like fossils: traces of digital time, captured in solid form.»

Our show C H A M B E R is over now.
@markus.heller on the left with his grand ceramic piece 'OWL' and me with my newbee 'In Real Life' made of like four thousand 2-cent-coins soldered together. These two works best represent the clash of stoneware and metal we wanted to create in this show. Furthermore it turned into a literal chamber echoing traces of past times and shifting layers of different realities, both virtual but obviously also very physical.
Thx to the team of @kunstraumortloff for having us. It was a great pleasure! Always nice to be back in Leipzig!
