Stoked to have a first time feature on @brides . Last year I got to work with this sweet couple and capture the events before their big day. On one of the days we went out around Donner Lake and captured morning portraits. Sweta’s dress fit perfectly well with the setting in the pines and the super nice breeze in the mountains. The following main events were all captured by my friend @lukaskorynta and they are all amazing. Make sure to go check it all out.

Well I’m not much with the words, but I believe we figure out so many things down this road and learn to identify who we are through trials/errors and just life lessons altogether, so I’m just going to wing it. I’m Mark, my close friends call me Tuzzy (comes from my last name). I’ve been photographing weddings since 2016, been full time at it since 2018 and absolutely been loving to capture memories for families/couples. Other than journaling, photographs are one of the best things we get to hold onto and pass along to our next generations and I’m just really thankful that I am able to capture fun and amazing memories for living. I’m a firm believer in Jesus Christ as my savior. This is honestly something I never deserved but through God’s grace he has saved me from something I could never fix myself from. I live for God, and I’m not perfect at it, but he guides me through and will always guide me till the very end. This year I only made one goal and that is to go above and beyond in all I do especially in my line of work. I believe that capturing a story isn’t all what it seems or what we plan for, it usually all unfolds right before us. And getting out of your comfort zone and going above and beyond is where the magic happens. The film photos above were taken by @katrinanicolephotography from a fun photo walk. Thanks for following along and I only hope to share a lot more with you all this year ☺️

Continuing to roll out some older work—this one takes us back to a Mt. Rainier elopement that started with a quiet hike in before sunrise. Just a few of us there—Stacy and River, their pastor, and me—as the light came through. I even ended up holding the rings for this one. Stacy carried a bouquet by @littlejoyfleurs that fit right into the landscape. Couldn’t have asked for more. Now live on the blog. Link in bio. Looking to book an elopement soon? Feel free to send a dm and we’ll get the process started!

Maddison and James, Cuffey’s Cove. A day shaped by the coast—easy, unforced, and fully their own. The kind of moments that don’t need direction, just presence. Link in bio. Planner: @mendocinoweddings Venue: @cuffeyscoveranch

Once in a while, photographers go through a rebranding phase and sometimes shift into overdrive by overthinking things. This is that moment for me. I’m trying to get out of that zone and focus more on blogging, sharing both old and new work. So here’s a little bit from the last sunset of 2024.

Hello! Coming out of hibernation once again. I get asked here and there if I do wedding photography still and the answer is obviously yes, but my IG page doesn’t seem to prove it, so here we are! To be honest, I do have a habit of holding back on sharing and I seriously wanna fix that. Lots of things changed and lots to look forward to. First things first, finally a new website is out. Put a good amount of work into that to portray a better feel to my portfolio. Feel free to check that out, link in the bio. And lots more to share with past work and more blogs as well to come. It’s been a wild ride for the past few years. Style and approach has changed. But all that to say, always excited to document love stories and life for all my couples and clients I get to work with. Stay tuned!

A little something different from sharing couples. Pulled out the Mamiya RB67 and went on a fun sunset shoot with @danekorganic The 2nd frame is what I like to call happy accidents. If you know the RB67, you know what I mean by that accident 😂 #portra160 #rb67
