Just in case you weren’t following my stories. Been busy art directing my friend Damion’s exhibition, opening tonight. He makes beautiful ceramic pieces, vases and plates.
It’s on at 5 tonight, at Nowe Studio in Bangalow. Come along, be awestruck at his work, and take in the scent of all the flowers.

Rituals. For decades I have started my day with the sun dawning, my reset, my moment, my preparation. Hank Moody my dog) and I are up before the sun. We walk to or run to the beach, and take it in. I do it wherever we are in the world. If only everyone had the same reset as this. I’m thankful daily for that light, that debut of the day.
Damo was in a group exhibition, with a lot of other rad artists at the new studio/gallery in Bangalow. Good people went to see it. We did too.

It ended with his graduation. A happy day, a dance, a run to the beach with all of his classmates and then a jump in the ocean with uniforms on, the last time they’d wear it. We are so proud of our son @indigowildesouth well done! Onwards to high school buddy!
