There’s is such a feeling of nostalgia about how we used to dig for music in the past. Of course it’s amazing that everything is so accessible these days, but at the same time I miss that hustle and effort to find a good song. When we made “Nostalgia”, we kept thinking of these memories of how things were when we started (we’ve been around for 20+ years), and to this day when I see a record store - you’d find me create digging in the corner. We have been around for 20 years and we have seen trance change and evolve in so many different ways. We have seen it comeback and then we have seen it live in the shadows of other genres. But we love it just the same.
We built our entire careers on the basis of our love for trance music, so we wanted to do a song that encompasses what we believe is the essence of it: the melody, the melancholy, that feeling of freedom. So here’s “Nostalgia”, a celebration of the beauty of trance, out now on @dreamstateusa ❤️
