@sgymidland Fall Retreat this weekend was such a beautiful time of rest & pursuing Jesus with some of my favorite people! Jesus moved in such a mighty way in our group and I am beyond blessed that God allowed me to be a part of it! Thankful for each and every youth kid God has blessed me to walk alongside! They mean more to me than they will ever know!
Can’t believe my mini me turned 13 today!! I can still remember the first night I got him, and how they told me he was very shy & to not get attached because I would only have him for a week. Well that first night I realized that boy was not only the opposite of shy with me but I broke that promise and was already in love with my sweet Ivan! I fought hard for him and am so glad I did! He has changed my life in the best way possible and I couldn’t be prouder to be his dad! I told him it’s like having a better version of myself! God knew I needed him in my life and I’m so glad He did! You are the biggest joy, you love the Lord, you are servant hearted, you are compassionate & you make everyone’s life you interact with better! I love you all the way to Heaven sweet bubs and I can’t wait to continue to see what God has in store for you! Heres to another amazing year of memories with you!
Can’t believe my sweet, amazing daughter is 18 today!!! Still feels like yesterday I was meeting her! This 3 years of knowing and loving her has been 3 of the best years of my life! She is full of joy, silly, loves Jesus with every ounce of her, is so kind and loving and anyone who knows her loves her! I am beyond blessed to call her my daughter and I can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for her this year!! Love you so much Ashley! Praying you have the best day!
SGY CAMP ‘25 in the books “On Earth as it is in Heaven” “YGTLT” To my group and leaders, thank y’all for all the friendships created. SGY Camp ‘25 is in the books! I sit here absolutely in awe of what God did in and through my group this week at camp! To my boys, you mean everything to me! Your vulnerability and intentionality in pursuing Jesus this week blew me away! I can’t wait to continue walking alongside y’all this year! You bless me more than you know!
To the best co-leader I could ask for, Jacob, you are one of my best friends and leading with you has brought me so much joy! The way you intentionally pursue our guys and point them to the truth is inspiring! So blessed to have you in my life! Can’t wait to see what’s in store for our group this year!
Said goodbye (for now) to my incredibly amazing best friend Lindsey Northcott Campbell today! Easily one of the hardest days of my life having to let go of my absolute rock of a friend these last 15 years! It still doesnt feel real! You have been there for me in all of my good and bad times and have stuck by me always, encouraging me, challenging me and bringing me so much joy! I got to hold your hand today and tell you everything I have loved about our friendship and how much you have truly impacted my life and so many others, then got to hug you, and pray over you! Your legacy has made quite an impact and I know it will continue on! Although I am beyond broken right now, I am hopeful because I know I will see you again! I’m thankful that you no longer are in pain and that you have been healed! Thank you for everything Linds! I would not be the man, youth leader or friend if it weren’t for you and the impact you’ve made on my life! Love you SO SO much!!!
