Big night out in NYC last night! Iāve performed in about 20 story slams so far, but last night was my first time on stage at the @mothstories . š Theme was āDisasterpiece.ā Performed my story about as well as I couldāve, stayed under the time limit, and ended up getting the highest score of the night, a 9.8 out of 10! Unfortunately, it takes 3 scores to win. And my other two were a little lower and I ended up 2nd or 3rd. But super proud to have crossed that Rubicon. And big thanks to my long time creative pal @faithmccormick for being my support system for the night. Hereās to taking chances. ā¤ļøš
