Yesterday we said goodbye to Hazel. So much more than the family dog. Friend, confidante, comforter. For 13 years she’s been something very special to all of us. Now she leaves a large brown fluffy hole in our lives. As Ricky Gervais put it, “If the kindest souls were rewarded with the longest lives, dogs would outlive us all”.
