For this Storybook editorial, my inspiration was Tony Scott’s cult classic The Hunger (1983) — a dark, melancholic and visually hypnotic world led by Catherine Deneuve and David Bowie, with Susan Sarandon bringing emotional depth to the story.
In the makeup, I blended iconic 80s aesthetics — structured brows, defined lines and sculpted contours — with the film’s misty, sensual atmosphere.
This entire Storybook issue pays tribute to some of the greatest films in history, and I’m truly proud that this particular title was entrusted to me and my team.
