I've tried so much the last year. Tried hard to improve, to achieve, to impress, to fulfill...
I grew tired of that.
Sometimes, even after seemingly doing everything right, going "all in", success is not granted - and it hurts to experience that.
After all though it brought me to realize that all that energy I've lost in trying and struggling against inner or external limits or resistances...
All that energy could have been spent in the thing that came first, matters most and should be the top priority in all I do. Music.
And that's what I'll do now.

One of my lifetime favorite concerts... burning band led by @tobiasfrohnhofer on drums, sporting @antoine.spranger and @matisregnaultmusic .
We played Tobias' music in the majestically sounding foyer of @das_wormser in Worms, a town both Tobias and I owe so much as we both are recipients of the Wormser Jazzpreis.

After a thrilling week at the international Jazz Workshop Herzogenaurach (ex Erlangen Jazz Workshop) and later coaching the LBBW Bigband, I am well fed with good moments in music and great encounters - but also glad to be home again finally!
