POWER MOVE BY ZELENSKYY: When Trump came to Zelenskyy asking for a three-day ceasefire to cover Russia’s Victory Day parade, Zelenskyy said yes — but on his terms. Ukraine would hold fire around Red Square only during the parade itself, only for those hours, and only if Russia returns prisoners first.
That’s it. No broader ceasefire. No reprieve for Russian military positions. Just a narrow window around a Moscow parade — with the precise coordinates of Red Square included in the official declaration.
Zelenskyy essentially told the world: we’re not afraid of Russia’s parade, we don’t need to strike a symbol, and we’ll take our prisoners back while Putin celebrates. He turned Trump’s ask into a leverage play and walked away with a prisoner swap while giving up almost nothing militarily.
Trump called it a win. Putin accepted it. And Zelenskyy got exactly what he wanted.
That’s not a concession. That’s a chess move.

The famous French actor and writer Jean Reno has written a novel about Ukrainian children abducted by occupying forces.
The main character of the book “L’Évasion” (“The Escape”) is Emma, a former massage therapist who works for the French intelligence agency DGSE. According to the plot, she goes undercover to Siberia and tries to infiltrate a so-called “rehabilitation camp” for Ukrainian teenagers in order to gather evidence of Russian crimes.
In an interview with the French outlet Télé 7, Jean Reno said that the motivation behind the book was real stories of Ukrainian children abducted by Russia, as well as his desire to draw global attention to the issue.

On April 26th 1986, in the north part of Ukraine above Kyiv, the Chornobyl nuclear reactor exploded (Chernobyl in its Russian spelling). For 3 days, the pigs in the Kremlin (aka the Soviet Union) LIED to the world and let people remain in the effected zone. Only after the radiation cloud hit Scandinavia and all of Europe noticed did the USSR react. Only then the people were evacuated... Countless of Ukrainians and Belarusians had been poisoned by radiatioyn and their fates were sealed. This event, more than anything else, was the beginning of the end of the Soviet Union. This piece for the Bandura was written in April 1996 to mark 10 years of this horrific event. It was recorded April 25, 2016 and released April 26, 2016 - to mark 30 years, and is dedicated to all the victims of this event, especially the brave firefighters who knowingly gave their lives up to go in and contain the explosion...
