happy mother's day to our one and only! you have mia and my hearts forever. you are such an amazing mom and wife. you are mia's everything, she looks to you and i see how much love is pouring out of her little heart for you. you are her everything and it's the most precious thing i have ever seen.
you have so much patience and love for us even when it looks like you want to pull all the hair out of your head because one of us it throwing a tantrum, you remain calm and get us to stop.

sk8 tours are always filled with some memories that will never fade. this tour ended up being called "the black eye tour" heath kirchart started it off with one, then got this girl to punch him a bunch of times in the eye for his second in the hotel jacuzzi. boys will be boys.
this morning i went to get mia out of her bed, when i went in i was not wearing a shirt and mia pointed at my chest and said Dylan, she then pointed at my tattoo that says Dylan and said Dylan. i could not believe that out of nowhere she said this. it was the first time i herd her mention his name. then when we were in the living room she pointed to his painting and said uncle Dylan, i want to call uncle Dylan. i had to hold back the tears because i didn't want to trip her out.
it was so beautiful.

how many of you remember Vita?
it was a shoe co that natas and i owned with some shitty investor "that ended up killing the brand to offset the money he made from selling his drink co" it was pretty devastating to deal with but a lesson in business. i always loved the design that @oscarputdowntheknife did on his shoe, as well as the look of our ads.

in the 80's sk8boarding became my everything, i lived and breathed it. i was so obsessed with it and everything to do with it. i soon found myself friends with some of the best to ever do it. at that point i knew i was witnessing something very special and that i needed to document it. this is why i started to shoot photos. having no experience or knowledge about photography and shooting with film, i had to teach myself and learn from my mistakes. these 2 shots are not in focus, not framed correctly or do they have the correct exposure. but they are of 2 of my favorite sk8ers and close friends and their style just make the photos for me. not to mention shot at grant's ramp on oahu, the ramp where i was a local.
