Part 3/3
“Slow by nature” wasn’t just a phrase we liked. It really became the way we traveled. This trip through Spain was only the start, really it was the first time we did anything like this, and we were so lucky to have Ocean and San by our side! The idea is to keep going, piece by piece, until we’ve circled the whole Mediterranean.
Until the next one,
Mustachos!

Part 2/3 “We weren’t trying to go fast, just to move slowly and really see where we were, and where the day takes us. The light, the air, the sounds, the people... Everything was part of the experience that was one of the best things we’ve ever done. Oh, and should we mention that we shot 18 rolls of film along the way, really trying to keep some of those moments before they disappeared. We had a few small problems here and there, but after a while we realized that’s just part of the trip. Nothing dramatic, just one flat tire, some issues with the rear derailleur (which we now kind of know how to fix), a few wrong turns. But also, one of the best coconut ice creams we’ve ever had, so it all balanced out pretty well.” - @marko_cile

“Slow by nature. That sentence was our main guide while planning this route. 2000km on the
Mediterranean coast of Spain, starting in Barcelona, going through Tarragona, Valencia,
Cartagena, over Sierra Nevada, of course climbing Mulhacén peak (3479m), then Granada,
Malaga, Tarifa, Cadiz and ending in Seville, ended up being quite a ride, in total of 24 days on the bike. We slept pretty much wherever we ended the day. On beaches, rocky cliffs, in pine forests, once we slept high up in the mountains. The views kept changing all the time, from sea, to fields, small white villages, desert roads, big cities. Every day looked and felt a bit different.”- @marko_cile
