I’m getting ready to get the interior going on the F25. I have decided to do a bench seat up front, rather than a pair of buckets and a console. The color I’m going with is tan. It’s gunna look great with the body color. The question I keep asking myself is the covering. Leather, vinyl or vinyl/fabric. Do I do custom embroidery like the diamond pattern in the photos, or factory style?? I also like the ā€˜87-91 bench seat like the last photo… but it’s not original, not like that matters so much. So many decisions šŸ¤ÆšŸ˜‚. #marknewhanbuilt #ridefox #dentside #ruggedradios

While this is a screenshot of an animation, it signifies my stock portfolio. I’ve had a bad run lately, and although the last few quarters have shown good growth on two of my holdings, they are just FUBAR in the big picture. I was always taught to ā€œonly buy stock in things that you useā€. This idea has served me well in the past, but I’m at odds with recent results. I bought more on the dip over the past few years (on one stock in particular) to cut my average cost in half. While it got with $1.00 of my average cost at a point more than a year ago, it backslides quarter after quarter. This particular stock is worth less than 30% of my dollar investment…. The second one in this conversation is about half. I’m actually considering to cut my losses and drop it all on an emerging stock with a lot of upside. I know I’m not alone in this wild market. Time to make some aggressive moves. Who’s in? #marknewhanbuilt

Four stints behind the wheel of these three trucks. An accumulation of race milage approaching 700, and coupled with prerunning the total nears 1800 so far this year. We finished all four events with a win at Parker 1 with @jack_olliges27 , 11th in a stacked field with brake issues on lap three at Parker 2, a 4 place at San Felipe after a good run and minor downtime, just 30 seconds off the podium… and another 4th at the SS300 after changing a power steering servo… and speeding penalties knocking us off the podium. I’m very grateful to @olliges27 for the opportunity to wheel some very fast trucks. I’d also like to thank the guys at @fox for the continued support. I reflect on nearly 40 years on Fox Shox. It hardly seems possible, because I haven’t aged a day😬. We will see what the racing gods have in store for the rest of the year, but what ever might materialize, be sure I’ll be smiling! #marknewhanbuilt #ridefox #ruggedradios #bfgoodrich

I’ve seen some comments lately about how someone has ā€œa significant investmentā€ in a particular race program. This photo represents merely the vehicles that we hammered on the race course and doesn’t include all of the tow and support vehicles we had there… let alone all of the other expenses we incurred. Without getting into all that happened and what could’ve happened… I’d just say that those of us that have been around for a long time have a ā€œsignificant investmentā€ in our own rights. Some have more ā€œsignificant investment ā€œ than others in terms of dollars, but it’s all relative to one’s personal ā€œGDPā€. I’d like to acknowledge some of the standouts that have ā€œsignificant investmentā€ in the sport for decades of involvement… The Herbst family, The Vildosala family, the McMillin family, the Menzie family, the Olliges family, the Wilson family, the Letner family, Mr. Thompson (concrete), Clyde Stacy and many, many more that we’re racing this years San Felipe that could’ve been negatively impacted with what went down. I’m hopeful that the sport can find some peace following this years race. I’ll post up a race recap soon… #marknewhanbuilt #ridefox #bfgoodrich #kmcwheels #geiserbros

@scoreinternational San Felipe 250 went almost flawless. Had a great time being down there all week and can’t thank all the people that help make this happen enough. @marknewhan did a fantastic second half of the race as well. Looks like a top five finish for the team!

**2026 PARKER 400 RACE RECAP** About 2 1/2 weeks out from the @theparker400 @jack_olliges27 called me to split the driving in the @geiserbros_ prepared G6 2WD Unlimited Truck. It had been since the 2023 BITD VtoR since I’d driven in competition, but the rust knocks off easy for me. We had planned a team test with both G6’s since September for a date after the B1K. Weather and schedules pushed the date out, but we did get to test with this G6 the Wednesday prior to the Parker Event. After a full day of work, we got this G6 to the point where I felt very comfortable at high speeds, like the kind you see on the last (brutal) lap chasing a victory. The driver line up was @jack_olliges27 and his Navigator Wes Lefler doing the first two laps then it was me and Dash Walker (who had advocated after testing) to navigate for me. I took my prerunner out and Jack, Wes and I would prerun a lap in the Wednesday morning prior to the race, then Wes, Dash and would do a second lap that afternoon. It was Dash’s first pull as a Navigator, so he was coached up during the prerun… I was pleased to see him pick it up so quickly. Dash also prepares this truck, so having him in the right seat was a good idea. At 17 he manages the responsibilities very well. Not only did he prep the winning 2WD, he also prepared the OA winning RPM twin engine, AWD for @madmaxgordon and @robbygordon … congratulations to them! Our race effort had the misfortune of two brake lines getting damaged on the beginning of lap two, costing a total downtime of approximately 25 minutes. This put me driving into the setting sun and combined with following some dust the last 40 miles, however I was able to set the fastest lap 3 time, so proud of that. We recovered well to take the top spot. Thank you Jack and @olliges27 for the opportunity, grateful to have been invited! #marknewhanbuilt #geiserbros #bfgoodrich #ridefox

I was listening to @dalejr download today. It was a replay from a few years ago with @hank.parker . I’d listened to it when it was fresh, but I must’ve not heard the end. Hank Sr. told a story from back in the day about a prank that they pulled on a guy when they were ocean fishing. The prank; they were trolling for Marlin and they took a 5 gallon bucket and cast it out, giving this guy the rod as he drew first up. The guy reeled it in like his life depended on it. To add extra drama, they kept telling the guy that they saw the fish surface to keep the man motivated. He finally landed the bucket but was far too tired to say much of anything…. It’s a great podcast and worth a listen. Well in 2007 me and a group of buddies were in Cabo at the finish of the B1K and went out on a boat… the Dorado were hittin and as we were trolling, one pole hit. Everyone told me to get after it. I did just that and the fight was epic, so much so that I was sure it was a Marlin. I fought that sum-bitch with everything I had…. for a long time. When we landed it, the deck hand (while laughing pretty hard) showed us that the hook set in the dorsal fin and I was dragging the good sized Dorado sideways through the water, all while the boat was still moving. So you can see the parallels in the stories… only I hadn’t been pranked… or at least I think🤣. #marknewhanbuilt #ridefox #ruggedradios #fiberwerx #trophyburro
