At 2026 Women’s Spring Supplement, featured Chitose Abe, we revisited what defines @sacaiofficial , especially as the brand enters a new chapter following the opening of its Beijing flagship store a few months ago. With @magdabutrym , took a deep dive into the meaning of the rose, both for the brand and for herself.
At 2026 Men’s Spring Supplement, I had another conversation with @wifirider@omar_braika about the debut show of their Palestinian brand @trashyclothing in Paris. I also spoke with @nathanielbenayoun about the irony and duality of @georgeslaurenceparis , as well as his vision of the Parisian gentleman.
Last but not least, in THE ANTWERP ISSUE, for the first time, Stefano Gallici spoke with a Chinese journalist about his journey at @anndemeulemeester_official . Also, together with Elise Taillieu’s company, I visited the @woutershendrix atelier—thx @tomdelaisse for capturing the images.
The first time I heard about Antwerp was because of Antwerp Six. I was a teenager then—probably in 2012—when I first became interested in fashion and decided to be fashion journalist one day. The first time I actually set foot in Antwerp was 12 years later, in late April 2024, for Willy Vanderperre exhibition at MoMu, what a pilgrimage!
Now, two years have passed, I find myself constantly returning to this city. The more time I spend there, the deeper my love for it grows.
This March, the Antwerp Six—the very figures who opened up my world to fashion—having their first group exhibition, totally a perfect timing to do something meaningful & big, to express my feelings toward them, toward fashion, and toward the people of this city. So here I am, proudly presenting the latest issue—THE ANTWERP ISSUE, a love letter from me to Antwerp.
The cover story features an interview with dearest @geertbruloot about this exhibition, and an interview with @waltervanbeirendonckofficial . Many thx to the legendary @paulboudens for cover design, and special thanks to @kaat.debo@davidflamee@momuantwerp for coordinating ❤️
The first major fashion event in Shanghai in 2026 comes from Lemaire. Today, its Shanghai flagship store officially opened.
Located in the heart of the former French Concession, the Paris-based brand has taken over an entire French-style villa at No. 40, Lane Wukang Road. Built in the 1930s, and after more than two years of careful restoration, this protected heritage building has been brought back to life. Preserving the original structure as much as possible, the space is now infused with Lemaire’s signature French elegance in a delicacy way.
It stands as an exemplary case of how European fashion brands can harmoniously integrate with local Chinese culture. One of the most beautiful retail spaces I have seen in Shanghai in recent years—and without doubt, a must-visit destination if you’re in town.
As I know Lemaire’s Beijing store will open right before Chinese New Year, and in April, Christophe and Sarah-Linh will come to Shanghai to meet with local community while showcasing an exhibition at the store.

6 covers and more than 60 interviews, this year, I had the opportunity to speak with some of the most creative minds in fashion, chat with the most intelligent CEOs & brand owners in the industry, invite amazing friends to contribute columns, and meet wonderful people all around the world, more precisely, even formed friendships with some of them.
From all of this, I learned from the best, which has made me better — both as a journalist and as a man. Thank you 2025, you were good to me!
Recently one thing I’m really glad is, finally had chance talk to @petercopping , the great couturier in our time.
Through zoom screen, started with his second collection for Lanvin, we discussed the Roaring 20s, the definition of elegance and its return, the similarities between him and Madame Lanvin, and of course, his passion for interior design. @nllchvllr
Last season, on my final day in Paris, I had an interview with @markhowardthomas on the 5th floor of 6 Rond-Point des Champs-Élysées, where we talked about his debut collection for @carven , with an incredible window view.
Now, that memory comes back as the collection is presenting at Carven Garden, today in Shanghai. @alban_adam
