私はNikeと協力して、史上最も偉大なゲームの瞬間の1つをリファレンスにしたスニーカーを作りました。この「Evo Moment 37 Air Force 1」（エヴォ モーメント 37 エアフォース1）は、eスポーツ（競技ゲーミング）の歴史の特定の瞬間だけでなく、私が愛する対戦格闘ゲームコミュニティへの賛辞でもあります。インターネット上には既に（このスニーカーの）動画、記事、投稿があふれています。ただ、このスニーカーの存在に相応しいマーケティングが行われず、コミュニティが受けるべきだった充分は祝福が得られなかったと私は思っています。それでも構いません。なぜか知っていますか？それは格闘ゲームのコミュニティは常に戦い、適応し、困難を乗り越えるからです。私たちは自分たち自身のスニーカーを手に入れました。これは私の夢の1つでした。ついに2022年に実現しました。私はそれを皆さんと違う方法で共有したかったのですが、代わりにEvo 2022週末に焦点を当てました。その時、私はウメハラ選手とジャスティン・ウォン選手にこのスニーカーが届くことを確かめたかったのでした。また、私の友人、家族、そして愛する人たちがそのスニーカーを手にすることを確認したかったのです。いつも私を信じていてくれた人に心の底から感謝を送ります。
I’ve been trying to wrap my head around this particular moment in time. I worked with Nike to create a sneaker that references one of the greatest gaming moments of all time. This Evo Moment 37 Air Force 1 is a tribute to not only the specific moment in competitive gaming history, but also a tribute to my beloved fighting game community. There are videos, articles and posts all over the internet already. The sneaker didn’t see the proper marketing or launch that the community deserves. That’s okay though. You know why? It’s because the fighting game community fights, adapts and overcomes the odds. We got our pairs. This has been one of my dreams. It’s finally here. I wanted to share it all with you in a different way, but instead I shifted my focus on Evo 2022 weekend. Making sure Daigo and Justin got a pair. Making sure my friends, family and loved ones got pairs. Making sure I take care of the many of you that gave me life & hope during this horrible pandemic. Thank you everyone for always believing in me. I love you guys. That being said. Time to focus on the future. New goals. New dreams. LFG!
