‘Ghost Light’ has its premiere today as part of Galway Film Fleadh. It’s our second film with Take Ten Productions and it’s been quite special working with so many brilliant people on this film. Rob and I had a ball producing it, alongside our excellent EP @germcnaughton .

I got some lovely news last night that I’d won Best Actor at @rharrisfilmfest .
It’s my first ever award and I know it’s only small in the grand scheme of things but it means a lot to me and I want to thank some special people who made it happen.
Thanks to the maestros Ruaidhri & Damien for writing and directing such a beautiful script, and for giving me a shot at playing a role like this. I felt alive as an actor for the first time in a long while.
Thanks to the fantastic cast and crew who made every day on set a joy.
Thank you to my Mam and Dad who always encourage me and who didn’t disown me due to the haircut.
Congratulations to the other nominees who gave such terrific performances. I look up to all of you and am proud to be in such fine company.
Thank you to all at Richard Harris film festival, not just for this award but for creating this wonderful festival that gives so much to the city of Limerick.
Lastly I’m aware I may never win another award, so I’d like to dedicate this one to three beautiful brilliant people that I had the joy to call my friends - Ciaran Toomey, Brian Morrissey, and Joanne O Donovan.
