I’m on the rebound (Acela back to NYC) from an amazing day of the latest in 3D printing at RAPID 3D Event in Boston. Michael Jordan I’m not, but the airless 3D printed basketball was pretty amazing! Also thanks to my all-star 3D Additive printing guru, Diana Verdugo, who gratuitously explained and toured me around the show and introduced me to the 3D elite!
It was an amazing experience at the Perrotin Gallery in NYC this afternoon. I first saw the work of Gabriel de la Mora in Mexico City and was so inspired. Seeing it again in NYC, made from the glass of broken reflective light bulbs, reminded me that the beauty of the creativity of humans can overcome the issues that we are facing today with our fractured sense of humanity. Peace and love. We are all reflections of each other.

The snow is almost melted in NY and a beautiful fog now blankets the bay. It looks like an infinite abyss and I think I’ll have to explore it. Mother Nature provides us with such interesting opportunities - swimming, hiking, camping and just watching. Let’s protect and honor her and all women on this International Women’s Day.
It’s a snow day at the office and I’m the only one here. I decided to give a shout out to my friend Bjorn Skulason and his amazing collagen that’s keeping me flexible enough to shovel the 20+ inches of snow we have in Manhattan! Maybe I’ll go for a swim in the Hudson next?
A snow day in NYC!!! So fun and so beautiful…ok, a big mess also. But New Yorkers are resilient and we always manage to make it through and try to have fun! Be safe everyone!!!
No swimming today! Mother Nature found a way to keep me out of the pool!!! Crazy cold, and furnace out in the house, but really beautiful. Be safe and stay out of the pool, if you have the same weather! But I did get into the hot tub!
