Book math- if it's not really there (Kindle) then I can buy more books like The Strange Lives of Eleanor Teague??? I think that must be true, as I teach Maths!
My thoughts: What a completely and utterly unique book. I can see why it had some of the comparisons it did. As soon as I saw those, I had to read this because I love a quirky thriller, especially when it messes with your mind.
Throughout the entire book I was trying to guess what was happening, who certain people were or were not, what was actually there and anything I could piece together. There was so much I was blown away by and honestly had not thought the author would hit us with out of left field. I loved the way things were written and how we got tossed into the unknown more than once.
The characters match the story and style perfectly and it only helps to solidify the absolutely bonkers, curious nature of this brilliant book.
The pace is spot on for the book as well. Right when you need to get hit with a sprint of action, you are, and just as you need to tiptoe through to figure a few things out, you do. It was excellent.

I used the word "uneasy" in my three word review, and I think that is the best summary of this novel that I can provide. The whole atmosphere feels just a little bit off, and it makes the book so very addictive - you just have to know what it is that's giving the story its edge!
I was fully engrossed throughout the whole read, and very satisfied with it all too. This is a book that keeps its momentum and intrigue from the first page to the last, and genuinely reminded me of why I say I like thrillers. This was the perfect book to read to just feel truly gripped by a story! If you're a thriller fan, I strongly recommend you don't look up anything about it and just read it. It WILL be worth your money.
