💙 Nurses Week 2026. This Nurses Week, we’re celebrating the unsung heroes of every fertility journey—our amazing fertility nurses 🩺✨ You are the first voice of reassurance on a nervous call…
The steady hand guiding a patient through their first injection…
The calm in the room during embryo transfer…
And the quiet strength after a difficult phone call. In a world filled with uncertainty and hope, you bring science, empathy, and heart together—every single day. You celebrate every positive.
You hold space for every heartbreak.
You advocate, educate, and empower. To our fertility nurses:
Thank you for being the soul of our clinic and the light in our patients’ journeys.
We appreciate you. We couldn’t do this without you. #NursesWeek #ThankYouNurses #IVFNurse #NurseAppreciation #MarkhamFertilityCentre

👩🏼‍⚕️👩🏽‍⚕️👩🏾‍⚕️👩🏻‍⚕️👩🏻‍⚕️Today we recognize all doctors across every field, whose work and dedication impact patients and communities in countless ways every day. We recognize the physicians behind fertility care, those who navigate complexity with precision, and support patients through decisions that are often anything but straightforward. Fertility medicine is more than protocols and outcomes. It’s ongoing assessment, difficult conversations, and showing up consistently through uncertainty, setbacks, and milestones. We are grateful for the care, thoughtfulness, and expertise our doctors bring to this work every day. 💚Happy Doctors’ Day! @dr.meivys.garcia @dr.salinakanji @drmwais @dr.crystalchan @dr.daphnechong

Male fertility is a vital part of every couple’s family-building journey, yet it is often overlooked. 🌎 In Canada, infertility affects approximately 15% of couples, and research shows that male-factor infertility is involved in up to 50% of cases, either as the primary cause or as a contributing factor (Source: Fertility Matters Canada; Canadian Urological Association Journal, 2015). Understanding male reproductive health and knowing which specialist to see is essential. This is where a urologist, and more specifically a reproductive urologist (also known as an andrologist), plays a central role in evaluating and treating conditions that affect sperm production, hormonal health, and male reproductive function. Markham Fertility Centre is partnering with Dr. John DiCostanzo of Markham Stouffville Hospital (MSH) who will now consult with our patients on a regular basis. With over 20 years of expertise and compassionate approach to reproductive and urological health, Dr. DiCostanzo brings a valuable new dimension to our clinic’s patient care. Dr. DiCostanzo will be available for male-factor fertility assessments, consultations, and specialized care, giving our patients more comprehensive and convenient access to expert care onsite at our clinic. #urologist #spermFacts #sperm #MarkhamFertilityCentre
