We are ONE WEEK AWAY from FREE COMIC BOOK WEEKEND here at The Comics Stronghold in Oceanside, CA and we couldnt be more thrilled! This is guaranteed to be the biggest and best event we have had since our first #FreeComicBookDay back in 2023 with more FREE COMICS than ever, and MORE GUESTS THAN EVER! Swing by on Saturday between Noon and 4pm to meet Anaheim based creator Andeh Pinkard @andehdrawz and get signed copies of his EPIC original manga Shonen Punx! Following Andeh, our buddy B.G. Khan, another local SoCal creator, will be stopping by starting at 4pm to share his super fun and rad graphic novel @realheroescomic Real Heroes Save the Day with the Stronghold Fam! BUT make sure you also swing by on Sunday because our good friend and North County local @zombietardis Joshua Pruett will be stopping by right as we open at 11am up until 1pm to sign and talk everything from The Last Comics on Earth, to Gyro and the Argonauts, Phineas and Ferb, Nightmare Before Christmas, Stranger Things, Avatar, MST3K and more! Following Josh, from 1-3 we will be hosting Ish and Vince from @tripleogcomics just in time for them to share the BRAND NEW TAMALE GUY ISSUE 2 with all of you who have been waiting so excitedly for it! And to cap off this insanely fun weekend, Mark Habegger @markhabegger and the North County Cartoonists Collective will be swinging by to sign and showcase their work from things like the Jollies mini-comics you've seen in the Stronghold to so much more! Not to mention the SOON TO BE ANOUNCED sales and raffles we will have going on all weekend, so stay tuned to the feed for those updates! The most exciting weekend in the entire year for Comic Book Fans is just a couple weeks away, and you already know that The Comics Stronghold is Oceanside's hub for all things #FreeComicBookDay and #ComicsGiveAwayDay! We will be having local Southern California based creatives set up all weekend long, so don't stress too hard about working us into your Saturday schedule. Along with all the epic FREE COMICS you'd expect from such an event, Saturday we will be joined by our good friends the creator of Shonen Punx @andehdrawz and the creator of @realheroescomic who have both written and drawn some really rad, completely original independent #comics and #manga that you definitely should check out when you swing by! And then the fun continues on Sunday with dear friends and frequently returning fan favorite guests @zombietardis Joshua Pruett (Phineas and Ferb, The Last Comics on Earth, Gyro and the Argonauts, etc) and @tripleogcomics Ish and Vince (Tamale Guy and Core Overdie)! And, making their first ever debut here at The Comics Stronghold, @markhabegger is swinging by alongside his friends from the North County Cartoonists Collective whose work you may have already seen in the rad Jollies mini-comics we have in store!
