I don’t do this body photo stuff. But for once in my life I’ve patted myself on the back today.
After my Operation for cancer last year I said to myself “right take it easy in 2024 you’ve been through a lot (which leads to putting a bit of weight on👀) but in 2025 smash the gym everyday, the diet…everything…become the best you”…..I’m not there yet….but here we are 💪🏻

Well, that’s 3 full marathons, liverpool 2012, Manchester 2013 and London 2026….i am now retiring from that distance this one hurt me a lot more than the ones 13 years ago! I’m sticking to 10ks and half’s!! The challenge is DONE 6 events Wigan 10k sept 25, Chester half marathon sept 2025, liverpool half marathon nov 2025, wigan half marathon march 2026, wigan to liverpool 20 miles April 2026 and finally the LONDON MARATHON April 2026! I am so close to my targets!! So please please please give what you can. £260 off target for Christie hospital and £149 off my target wigan hospice! London marathon this Sunday! I’ve raised over £4000 for the Christie Cancer Hospital and Wigan and Leigh Hospice. I’ve ran one 10k, 3 half marathons, one 20 mile run and my last challenge of the 6 part Christie Challenge is the LONDON MARATHON this Sunday! I want to raise even more! I went through and STILL go through Cancer through my check ups at the Christie so please donate to the Christie Cancer hospital or the Wigan and Leigh Hospice below.
